Van Moer Logistics has taken a strategic step in its ambition to provide fully integrated logistics solutions by acquiring the air freight division of Ziegler Belgium.
This acquisition, effective immediately, adds air freight services to its portfolio, further solidifying its position as a one-stop-shop logistics partner in Belgium. The move aligns with Van Moer’s vision of ‘The Perfect Flow’, offering customers a seamless, end-to-end logistics experience across all transport modes.
The acquired division, a certified IATA freight forwarder based at Brussels Airport, brings specialized expertise in international air freight to Van Moer’s existing operations. All activities will continue under Van Moer Logistics, ensuring uninterrupted service for clients.
This expansion allows the company to enhance its forwarding capabilities and better support customers in managing complex international supply chains, from road and rail to sea and now air freight.
With this acquisition, Van Moer Logistics reinforces its long-term strategy to expand its forwarding services. Over the years, the group has invested heavily in strengthening its multimodal logistics offerings, including warehousing, distribution, and international transport. By integrating air freight, Van Moer now provides a fully integrated logistics solution, enabling customers to rely on a single partner for all their supply chain needs.
This deal underscores Van Moer’s commitment to building sustainable partnerships and optimizing logistics processes for its clients. As the company continues to grow – now operating 500 trucks, 15 inland vessels, 850,000 m² of warehouse space, and over 40 locations across Belgium – it remains focused on innovation, efficiency, and customer-centric solutions, taking another step toward realizing ‘The Perfect Flow’.
