Shaping Impact to give back to Belgian healthcare workers via Tickets for Good

Tickets for Good has raised €4.5 million in a Series A round that includes local investors Shaping Impact and Leansquare.

Benelux impact investor Shaping Impact and Belgian venture capital fund Leansquare joined the €4.5 million Series A round led by Mercia Equity Finance, alongside Finance Yorkshire and several private investors, providing the capital necessary to accelerate Tickets for Good’s international rollout and support more healthcare workers across Belgium.

“Tickets for Good is a strong example of the kind of company we want to support: commercially ambitious, highly scalable and built around a clear social purpose,” explains Dave Dirks, managing partner at Shaping Impact, which manages three impact investment funds focused on positive social innovation.

“By making live performance more accessible to healthcare workers, the company creates meaningful impact in a sector with enormous cultural and social value.”

Founded in England in 2022 by fellow music lovers Steve Rimmer and Neville Mosey (who passed away in 2024), Tickets for Good has since expanded to the United States, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. As its name suggests, the organisation donates tickets to healthcare, education and charity staff as a token of appreciation for their hard work, as well as to people in financially vulnerable situations.

In Belgium, however, this focus is currently limited to healthcare workers. “Belgium has welcomed Tickets for Good with open arms, and we are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received so far. We are really looking forward to increasing that impact for the thousands of Belgians who are entitled to it,” notes Steve.

Through the platform, event organisers and performers can donate unused tickets (like Robbie Williams, who has also previously invested in the platform). Users register for free and pay a considerably reduced fee per ticket.

The platform has more than 760,000 members and has distributed over 1.4 million tickets to date. LaSemo Festival 2026 sold out via the platform, and around 180 Belgians booked their tickets for the Robbie Williams and Iron Maiden concerts at Live Is Live through it.

“We look forward to supporting the team in this next phase of growth,” Dave adds.
