Reverz merges with the Belgian enterprise hardware specialist, Ker Bolton, to become a global leader in IT lifecycle management.
Founded by Martijn Kamerman, Ker Bolton has established itself as a key regional specialist in enterprise network hardware, value-added logistics and spare parts management. Under the terms of the deal, the Antwerp-based team will merge into and trade under the Reverz identity, while retaining its local operational footprint, customer-facing teams and existing client relationships.
“We know this market, we know the hardware and, most importantly, we know our customers,” shares Martijn, who previously built two IT asset disposition (ITAD) companies and completed one exit prior to this deal. “Joining forces allows us to build on that experience with a broader organisation around us, without losing the personal relationships and market knowledge that got us here.”
He adds that this opens new possibilities for customers: “By joining forces, Ker Bolton’s hardware expertise and international network become part of a complete IT lifecycle offering, including everything from enterprise hardware and third-party maintenance (TPM) to secure ITAD with certified data erasure, ESG reporting and a data-driven platform powered by AI.”
The integration physically connects Ker Bolton's logistics and supply chain network directly with GAIA, Reverz’s proprietary AI engine designed to optimise asset pricing, secondary grading and circular destinations.
“Reverz was built with a clear ambition to become a leading international platform for the circular IT economy. This merger is an important step in that journey, bringing together complementary capabilities, customer relationships and market positions to better serve customers and accelerate international growth,” says Reverz founder Roger van Norden.
Having spent more than 25 years building businesses in circular IT – including two others he eventually sold – Roger has watched the industry evolve over time and believes there is still significant opportunity ahead. “This is only the beginning. We see significant opportunities to grow Reverz through further strategic acquisitions and partnerships, with the ambition to build a pan-European and, ultimately, global platform for the complete IT lifecycle.” he explains, enthusiastically.
“There is a lot more to build. And that’s exactly what makes this next chapter so exciting.”
The merger expands Reverz’s reach across Europe, Africa and Asia, increasing its footprint to two warehouses in the Netherlands and Belgium and seven sales offices across Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Greece, Morocco and Indonesia.
“By combining deep industry expertise with data, AI and scalable technology, we are building the foundation to increase the value of technology for our customers and drive the next phase of growth in circular IT,” Roger concludes.
