Winston Taylor enters the Benelux market with a new name and transatlantic ambition

post-title

As of today, Taylor Wessing Netherlands & Belgium will operate under the name Winston Taylor, joining a new transatlantic law and notary firm focused on innovation, growth, and international markets.

This move underscores the increasing need for clients to have direct access to global expertise and specialized knowledge.

With over 100 lawyers and notaries and a history dating back to 1936, the firm has grown into one of the fastest-growing international law firms in the Benelux in recent years. Winston Taylor now combines the strengths of Winston & Strawn and Taylor Wessing’s practices in the UK, Middle East, and Europe, bringing together 1,400 lawyers across 20 offices worldwide.

Local strength, global reach
“Our offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Eindhoven have built a strong position in the Dutch and Belgian markets”, says Marc van Gelder, Managing Partner of Winston Taylor Netherlands & Belgium.

“With this rebranding, we are taking an important step in our development. Our clients operate in a rapidly changing international context and require direct access to global markets and specialized expertise. As part of Winston Taylor, we can better support them with complex international challenges and cross-border growth opportunities.”

The combination also unlocks new potential in intellectual property and innovation, by merging a strong European IP and patent practice with a leading US litigation practice. This creates a unique transatlantic platform for clients in sectors such as technology, life sciences, and other innovation-driven industries.

Critical Transactions with Global Impact
Winston Taylor supports M&A, private equity, venture funding, and capital markets transactions with deep local insights and seamless cross-border execution, from seed stage to IPO and beyond. With a hands-on approach and as deal accelerators, they help clients navigate complexity so they can focus on the end result.
