The deadline for the Q3 M&A League Tables is around the corner (16 October 2026)

The third quarter of 2026 has officially wrapped up, meaning it's time for Manda.be to count the dealmakers that topped the local League Tables.

To ensure this quarter’s rankings are complete and accurate, it’s crucial that all transactions – big and small – are submitted on time. While Dealmakerdata.be is always open for logging completed transactions, the cutoff to ensure recent deals are considered in the upcoming Q3 M&A League Tables is on 16 October 2026.

Transactions announced between July 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026 will be included in the dedicated Q3 snapshot published on MandA.be, which reveals the firms and people with the most deals this season.

How to submit a deal:

Step One
Select “Add Deal” within the database, located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step Two
Select the type of deal you would like to submit by clicking on the dropdown menu and choosing the appropriate option.

Step Three
List the key parties involved in the transaction, avoiding legal entity suffixes such as N.V., B.V., Ltd., or similar.

  • In the case of a person, use the designation “Private Investor” rather than individual names.
  • If it involves the shareholders of the company, indicate by adding “Shareholers” after the entity’s name.

A dropdown option will appear if companies are already listed in the database. If it isn’t, you will have to create a new profile by completing the required fields.

Step Four
Add advisers to the transaction by first selecting the appropriate M&A expertise category to which the advisory firm belongs, then adding the relevant business.

Step Five
Similary to companies, you can add the dealmakers involved in the transaction by simply entering their name in the search bar and selecting the appropriate profile from the list of results. If a dealmaker is not yet listed in the database, you will need to create a new profile.

For each dealmaker, assign the appropriate level based on their role within the transaction team:

  • Team lead: Lead adviser
  • Level 1: Managing Director, Partner(s), Head of M&A
  • Level 2: Director, Senior Advisor(s), Associate(s), Legal Counsel, etc.
  • Level 3: Junior Advisor(s), Analyst(s), etc.

Step Six
Enter the deal value details based on the available information; where exact amounts are unclear, a range is acceptable. Where no information is available, select “Undisclosed”.

Step Seven
Specify the deal structure and funding based on the dropdown options provided (max two).

Step Eight
Include important information:

  • Deal name
  • Announcement date
  • Completion data
  • Applicable law
  • Press releases and other media

You can also include a private note to the deal team for any relevant internal remarks, such as embargo terms.

Final Step
Ensure all the information is accurate and press “Submit”.

Once submitted, the Deal Team will review the information and publish the deal within five working days.
