Altix strengthens investor support with strategic appointments in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Altix, the investment platform providing private investors access to private equity, has announced two key appointments in the Netherlands and Belgium. With the arrival of Joachim Löwenthal and Charlotte Declercq, the company aims to further professionalise investor support and strengthen long-term relationships across the Benelux.

The appointments signal a new phase of growth for Altix. After focusing in recent years on building its platform, the company is now shifting towards long-term investor guidance, tailored to the different stages of investors’ portfolios in each market.

According to co-founder Cesco van der Vliet, investor expectations are evolving. “Investors are not just looking for access to private equity”, he says. “They want clarity, peace of mind and a partner who thinks alongside them for the long term. Joachim and Charlotte significantly strengthen our approach in the Benelux.”

Strengthening investor relationships in the Netherlands
In the Netherlands, Löwenthal has been appointed Director Investor Solutions. He will support existing investors in defining next steps, structuring investment decisions and developing multi-year strategies. The role shifts the focus from entry points to long-term collaboration.

Löwenthal previously spent nearly seven years at IBS Capital Allies, advising high-net-worth individuals on wealth structuring and investment strategies. His background lies in relationship management and long-term advisory work. “Building sustainable relationships that go beyond a single transaction is what motivates me”, says Löwenthal.

Expansion and strategic focus in Belgium
In Belgium, Altix is focusing on expanding its investor network and deepening partnerships. With Declercq’s appointment as Head of Investor Relations & Partnerships, these activities are placed at the core of the organisation.

Declercq combines legal experience in mergers, acquisitions and restructurings with years of involvement in the Belgian M&A and private equity community through her previous role as Community Manager for the Belgian M&A Community.

She also joins the Belgian founding team as its third partner, alongside Cedric Carbonez and Manfred Krcmar. From this position, she will help strengthen Altix’s strategic positioning in Belgium. “Private equity is built on trust, substance and having the right people at the right moment”, Declercq says.
