Gimv reports record investment and portfolio growth

Gimv, the Belgian investment company, has announced robust results for its shortened financial year 2025, achieving a record investment level of 466 million euros and expanding its total portfolio to over 2.1 billion euros – a 31 percent increase in just nine months.

The company’s portfolio delivered a return of 14.3 percent (19.1 percent annualized), surpassing its target, while net profit reached 173.3 million euros (4.8 euros per share). Equity value per share also rose by 9 percent to 55.1 euros, reflecting sustained value creation and operational resilience amid challenging economic conditions.

CEO Koen Dejonckheere (photo) attributed the success to Gimv’s strategic focus on innovation and growth, emphasizing the company’s ability to deliver strong sales and EBITDA growth with expanding margins.

“Our companies have shown remarkable resilience and focus on innovative growth”, Dejonckheere noted, highlighting the firm’s commitment to combining intelligence and AI with human expertise to drive digital transformation. Gimv also proposed a dividend of 1.95 euros per share, consistent with previous years.

Chairman Filip Dierckx underscored the momentum behind Gimv’s accelerated growth strategy, which has strengthened its position as a leading European mid-market private equity investor.

“This growth path reinforces our capacity to contribute to an innovative and resilient European economy”, Dierckx stated, signaling confidence in Gimv’s ability to support portfolio companies through technological and digital evolution.
