Fortino Capital names Philipp Remy Managing Partner

Philipp Remy has been promoted to Managing Partner at Fortino Capital, marking a further step in the growth of the European venture and private equity firm’s presence in the DACH region.

Remy joined Fortino Capital as a Partner in October 2022 and has since played a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint in Germany, including the establishment of its Munich office. He has also helped strengthen Fortino’s investment focus on software and artificial intelligence.

In his new role, Remy will continue to lead the firm’s investment activities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland while overseeing the development of Fortino’s AI strategy.

Alongside his responsibilities at Fortino, Remy serves on the boards of several technology companies, including Modell Aachen GmbH, SIMCON and Worklinq. He previously held a board position at Symbioworld.

The promotion underlines Fortino Capital’s continued commitment to scaling its investment platform in the DACH market and deepening its expertise in high-growth software and AI businesses.
