European consultancy Eight Advisory has appointed Boudewijn Brouwer as Director in its Restructuring & Turnaround practice in Amsterdam, reinforcing its presence in the Benelux market.
Brouwer joins from a Dutch private equity firm, where he worked as Investment Director at its Special Investment Fund, focusing on turnarounds and buy-outs. Eight Advisory Benelux managing director Philippe Fimmers said the hire underlines the firm’s commitment to building a senior restructuring team for the Dutch market. “Boudewijn’s combined experience as a restructuring banker and distressed investor will provide our clients with a unique perspective”, he noted.
Partner Boudewijn Wellink added that Brouwer’s expertise will strengthen the firm’s capacity to support clients through “their most critical transitions.”
Brouwer said he was “thrilled” to join the international team and looks forward to leveraging his experience and network to support clients and contribute to Eight Advisory’s growth.
