International law firm Dentons has appointed Tom Geudens (right) as Co-Managing Partner in Belgium, joining Edward Borovikov (left), who has led the Brussels office for the past 15 years. Together, they will oversee the growth and strategic development of Dentons’ Belgian practice.
Brussels, as an EU capital, remains a key priority for Dentons. "Our two Co-Managing Partners bring complementary strengths that will accelerate our expansion in Belgium", according to Wendela Raas, CEO of Dentons Europe.
While Borovikov will continue to lead on international trade matters, Geudens will focus on expanding the firm’s offering in Belgian law.
Geudens, who joined Dentons in February 2025, is recognized as one of Belgium’s top banking and finance lawyers. He brings over 20 years of experience advising global banks, corporations, and public institutions on complex financing structures and financial regulation.
Borovikov, a highly regarded expert in international trade law, founded the Brussels office in 2010 and has since built it into a key presence in Dentons’ global network.
The appointment follows a period of strategic growth for Dentons in Belgium, including the recent hires of partners Jens Debièvre, Joris de Vos, and Tom Geudens. The Brussels office now includes 25 lawyers, 13 of whom are partners.
