Gimv has announced the appointment of Bart Troubleyn as the Head of Gimv Anchor, a newly established investment initiative in collaboration with WorxInvest. In his new role, Troubleyn will also join Gimv's Executive Committee.
Gimv Anchor focuses on long-term growth investments, partnering with companies that demonstrate strong compounding growth potential. The initiative was officially launched in February with its first investment in Cegeka.
Troubleyn brings extensive international experience, having held leadership roles as CEO, COO, and business consultant at companies such as Sea Invest, Manuchar, and Roland Berger. His expertise spans general management, strategy, M&A, corporate restructuring, and digital transformation.
Filip Dierckx, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Koen Dejonckheere, CEO of Gimv, expressed their confidence in Troubleyn’s leadership, highlighting his strong track record and strategic vision.
Commenting on his new role, Troubleyn says: “I am honored to lead Gimv Anchor and contribute to its mission of supporting high-potential companies with capital, expertise, and experience to drive long-term growth.”
Troubleyn will assume his position in mid-April, working closely with Gimv's teams to enhance deal sourcing and value creation across investment platforms.
