Chris Van Hoorde makes the transfer from corporate finance office VDP to Vandelanotte.
Vandelanotte, an independent Belgian accountants and consultancy firm, is strengthening its growth ambitions with the appointment of Chris Van Hoorde as a new M&A partner.
After three successful years as a partner and managing director, Chris will leave the Ghent corporate finance office VDP to further expand the M&A department at Vandelanotte from the end of May 2024.
During his career at KBC, Dealmakers and VDP, among others, Chris built up a lot of experience and expertise in corporate finance, with a strong focus on M&A. “With Chris in our M&A team, Vandelanotte Corporate Finance will place an even stronger focus on the sale of companies and further develop the M&A department into a high-quality reference in the market. He can rely on a strong and high-performance team of driven employees with proven expertise”, says Veerle Buyl, Corporate Finance partner at Vandelanotte.
“Vandelanotte has a lot of market knowledge and expertise, so customers can always count on appropriate advice. With the strength of a large group and a thorough focus of the team, we should succeed in acquiring a significant market share in M&A in the short term”, says Van Hoorde. “From the first conversation I felt the motivation to contribute to a fantastic story. Vandelanotte is characterized by a family character, a high degree of involvement, a no-nonsense approach and solution-oriented creativity.”
With this strategic appointment, Vandelanotte once again underlines its ambition to grow and strengthen its position in the market.
