Gimv has successfully closed a new 400 million euros revolving credit facility, replacing its existing 210 million euros undrawn bank credit lines.
The facility, arranged by a syndicate of leading Belgian banks – Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING Belgium, and KBC Bank (with KBC as agent and BNP Paribas Fortis as coordinator) –strengthens Gimv’s financial firepower to accelerate investments across its four core platforms: Consumer, Healthcare, Smart Industries, and Sustainable Cities, as well as its long-term Anchor strategy.
The new facility enhances Gimv’s liquidity position, providing flexible funding to support portfolio companies in executing growth plans – from digital healthcare innovations to sustainable urban development.
"This milestone reinforces our financial agility, allowing us to invest with conviction in companies driving productivity, innovation, and technological transformation", said Koen Dejonckheere (CEO) and Kristof Vande Capelle (CFO) in a joint statement.
The transaction underscores the Belgian financial community’s confidence in Gimv’s strategy and track record.
With this additional funding, Gimv is poised to accelerate deal flow while continuing to back its existing portfolio in scaling operations, expanding market reach, and advancing sustainability initiatives. The facility aligns with Gimv’s long-term ambition to partner with businesses shaping the future of healthcare, industry 4.0, and smart infrastructure.
