It is the third acquisition of World of Talents on Dutch soil.

World of Talents has announced its agreement to acquire Venk, a Dutch secondment platform specializing in white-collar professionals in the technical/engineering and public sectors.

This acquisition marks a strategic move for World of Talents to diversify its offerings in the Netherlands. It is the Belgian's third takeover on Dutch soil. Last year, Obvious People from Rotterdam was acquired, specialized in seconding specialists in Salesforce and data. Last autumn, a deal followed with Via Medica from Bussum, which specializes in the recruitment of doctors and other medical specialists.

Venk operates under two established brands, Voort and koen, which cater to distinct client needs – Voort focuses on temp-to-perm placements, while koen specializes in temporary assignments. The company has a strong national presence, with nine offices across the Netherlands and a localized approach to client service.

Venk’s CEO, Patrick van den Berg, will continue leading the company, supported by a team of 150 staff and 1,150 professionals. With over two decades of experience, Venk has built a reputation for helping businesses address staffing shortages and maintain operational continuity through its expertise and focus on flexibility.

Steve Rousseau, CEO of World of Talents, expresses enthusiasm about the acquisition, citing shared values of quality, expertise, and entrepreneurship. He notes that Venk’s addition will accelerate growth and expand World of Talents’ impact in the staffing and consulting sectors.

World of Talents, an international HR and consulting group, focuses on specialized talent management and bottleneck professions, operating across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany with a workforce of over 5,000. This acquisition reinforces its position in the Dutch market and aligns with its growth strategy.
