The Dutch private equity firm Waterland is investing in Locquet Power & Light, a Belgian company specializing in the rental of mobile lighting and electricity. The company primarily operates at events, providing diesel generators, mobile batteries, lighting, and charging stations. Additionally, it supplies construction sites and assists in cases of power outages.
In Belgium, Locquet is a major player, generating nearly 15 million euros in revenue. Waterland aims to help the company expand internationally through acquisitions in neighboring countries. Furthermore, Waterland will support Locquet with investments in battery systems, mobile solar panels, and hydrogen generators.
No details have been disclosed regarding the size of Waterland's stake in the company.
