The Dutch Vos Transport Group has expanded its Benelux footprint through the acquisition of Belgian transport company Mvitra NV, based in Diest. The takeover, effective 10 October 2025, marks a strategic move to enhance Vos Transport Group’s road transport and warehousing network in the region.
Vos Transport Group is a leading logistics service provider with branches in Deventer, Ittervoort, Groningen, Alblasserdam and Diest (Belgium). The company offers a wide range of national and international transport, distribution and warehousing services, focusing on sustainable and efficient logistics solutions throughout Europe.
Mvitra has built a strong reputation in road transport and logistics services. Its location in Diest is strategically positioned near key customers and complements Vos Transport Group’s existing sites in Deventer, Ittervoort, Groningen and Alblasserdam. The integration will allow Vos to provide more efficient regional transport solutions, cross-docking services and warehousing capacity across the Benelux.
The acquisition also supports Vos Transport Group’s sustainability goals by reducing empty mileage and improving vehicle utilization. By optimizing routes and network flows, the company aims to achieve a more sustainable and cost-efficient logistics operation.
