Visma Expands in Wallonia with Acquisition of TwinnTax

post-title

Norwegian software group Visma continues to strengthen its position in the Belgian accounting software market with the acquisition of TwinnTax, a Walloon specialist in workflow automation for accounting firms.

Founded in 2019, TwinnTax provides software to more than 1,200 Belgian accounting offices. Its core platform aggregates data from fourteen government systems and presents it in structured dashboards, helping accountants automate repetitive administrative tasks such as payroll processing and tax filings.

This marks Visma’s second acquisition in Wallonia, following a string of takeovers in Flanders and Brussels, including Yuki, Mobilexpense, FlowTribe, Bizzcontrol, Teamleader and Silverfin.

TwinnTax will continue to operate as an independent entity within the Visma Group, with its existing management and team remaining in place. “Since our founding in 2019, we have grown rapidly, and joining Visma will help us scale even further”, said Olivier Daxhelet, founder of TwinnTax.

The acquisition price has not been disclosed. Visma reported 2.8 billion euros in revenue last year and serves around 2.1 million customers across Europe and Latin America.
