Vandelanotte, Belgium’s largest independent accountancy, audit, and advisory firm, has acquired Crowe Spark, a 70-employee accountancy and advisory firm with offices in Antwerp, Brussels, Mechelen, and Bornem.

The move further reinforces Vandelanotte’s regional presence and is in line with its growth strategy focused on local proximity and multidisciplinary services.

“We distinguish ourselves through our close client relationships and broad service offering. The integration of Crowe Spark was a deliberate choice based on cultural and value alignment”, says CEO Nikolas Vandelanotte. “There is mutual trust, and we’re excited to exchange ideas and expertise.”

Shared vision and complementary strengths
Both firms are part of the international Crowe network and share a commitment to high-quality standards and global expertise. The integration will allow both brands to strengthen and expand their offerings in a rapidly evolving business environment.

“We feel completely aligned with Vandelanotte in terms of vision and client focus”, adds Bart Apers, Managing Partner at Crowe Spark. “This partnership brings together decades of experience and allows us to respond more swiftly to technological and regulatory changes in the sector.”

Rapid growth in a consolidating market
Vandelanotte has seen a remarkable 125 percent growth in revenue over the past five years, growing from 35 million euros in 2019 to 79 million euros in 2024. Its workforce has also doubled to 717 employees. The integration of Crowe Spark follows earlier acquisitions in Turnhout and Ghent, as the firm continues its expansion across Belgium.

The two firms recently co-hosted a webinar on the implications of new U.S. import tariffs, underscoring their collaborative approach and focus on timely, client-centered insights.
