Van Mossel Automotive Group has strengthened its presence in West Flanders with the acquisition of two Renault-Dacia dealerships: Garage Vandenbunder in Diksmuide and Garage Lagrou in Ypres. Both locations will now operate under the names Van Mossel Vandenbunder and Van Mossel Lagrou.
Additionally, Van Mossel has taken full ownership of Devos-Capoen, a well-known West Flanders car dealership group. This brings the total number of Renault-Dacia dealerships under Van Mossel’s control in Belgium to six.
Koen Claessen, CEO of Van Mossel Benlux, highlighted that these acquisitions further solidify their ties with West Flanders, assuring customers that they can continue to rely on familiar faces and excellent service.
The complete takeover of Devos-Capoen is a significant step for Van Mossel, following the group's acquisition of 50% of its shares during the pandemic. The Devos family remains actively involved in the business.
