Belgian tech scale-up Trendtracker has secured 7 million dollars in Series A funding to accelerate the global rollout of its AI-powered strategic intelligence platform.

The round, led by Armilar with participation from existing investor Capricorn Partners, reflects growing demand for AI systems that help enterprises anticipate change and make faster, better-informed strategic decisions.

Founded in 2019 in Ghent, Trendtracker has evolved from a local startup into a global player, now used by major enterprises and government agencies.

Clients include Siemens, PepsiCo, P&G, Ageas, PwC and Arthur D. Little, as well as public-sector organizations across multiple regions.

Trendtracker’s platform provides an “always-on” AI analyst that continuously monitors global signals across political, economic, technological, and environmental domains. Its multi-agent system interprets context, forecasts emerging trends, and links developments directly to strategic impact – reducing complexity for leaders overwhelmed by information overload.

CEO Vincent Defour describes the technology as a “strategic sparring partner” that models future scenarios, quantifies risks and opportunities, and supports executive decision-making without replacing human judgment. The company reports strong traction as organizations seek more adaptive alternatives to traditional strategy cycles.

The new funding will be used to expand Trendtracker’s presence in the US and Middle East, strengthen partnerships with consulting firms and enterprise platforms, and accelerate development of its AI analyst architecture. The company will also scale its hybrid team, adding senior talent in AI, foresight, engineering, and commercial leadership.

With this investment, Trendtracker aims to cement its position as a leading provider of explainable, transparent, and predictive strategic intelligence built for global enterprises navigating continuous disruption.
