Belgian premium snack producer TNS Food has entered a new phase of growth by joining GoodLife Foods, a portfolio company of IK Partners.

On June 16, 2025, the shareholder of TNS signed an agreement to sell its shareholding to GoodLife, marking the beginning of a partnership aimed at unlocking synergies in scale, innovation, and operational excellence.

Founded by Daphne Aers in 2000, TNS has built a strong reputation in the European market for high-quality, private label savoury snacks and meal components. Known for its innovative spirit – most notably its in-house developed 100 percent oven-prepared crumb technology –TNS serves both retail and foodservice sectors with artisanal, flexible, and consumer-relevant offerings.

The acquisition allows TNS to tap into GoodLife’s broader pan-European commercial network and benefit from its expansive production footprint. In return, TNS enhances GoodLife’s innovation capabilities, artisanal product range, and adaptability to changing consumer tastes. The combined business will be better equipped to drive growth and category leadership in the frozen snack segment across Europe.

Daphne Aers, founder and CEO of TNS, expresses both pride and emotion over the transition: “TNS has been my life’s work, and selling was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. Squarefield’s guidance throughout this process was invaluable. I’m confident that in GoodLife, TNS has found the right home to thrive.”

The transaction further reinforces Squarefield’s reputation as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses in the European food and agri sector.
