post-title

Strukton Rail N.V. has acquired E. de Vuyst N.V., a Zottegem-based rail works specialist, further strengthening its position in the Belgian rail infrastructure market.

The transaction aligns with Strukton Rail’s long-term strategy to deepen its local presence and reinforce its role as an integrated rail partner for public-sector clients.

Strukton Rail is part of Strukton Groep B.V., which focuses on sustainable infrastructure across Europe.

E. de Vuyst is a well-established player in Flanders with recognised expertise in rail works. The acquisition enhances Strukton’s operational capacity and regional anchoring in Belgium.

The company will continue to operate under its existing name, with Mario De Vuyst and Ilse de Vuyst remaining active in the business. No impact on employees, partners or ongoing operations is expected.

In Belgium, Strukton Rail already operates through subsidiaries Siebens Spoorbouw, focused on industrial and port-related rail infrastructure, and Certus Rail Solutions, active in rail freight operations and first- and last-mile transport.

Together, the group now covers the full rail value chain in Belgium, from design and construction to maintenance and operations – underscoring continued consolidation in the sector.
