Smile Sail has acquired a majority stake in Rsult Group, an award-winning Oracle NetSuite partner, in a move aimed at accelerating the technology company’s growth across the EMEA region.
The transaction marks the first investment from Smile Sail’s 275 million euros evergreen fund, which focuses on scaling software, AI, and IT services companies. The investor is partnering with Rsult founders John Schrijvers and Gerard den Teuling and will provide both strategic and financial support.
Rsult is currently executing a buy-and-build strategy across EMEA and expects the new shareholder to help speed up its regional expansion while strengthening service capabilities, AI expertise, industry specialization, and customer reach.
Beyond its Oracle NetSuite practice, the group owns AI-enabled SaaS companies Dataswitcher and Movemybooks. These platforms help businesses migrate financial data between accounting systems and are considered a key component of Rsult’s broader cloud ERP value proposition.
Schrijvers will remain Group CEO, while Den Teuling will continue to serve on the executive team to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Schrijvers said the partnership provides a platform to invest more heavily in talent and innovation while expanding faster across EMEA. He added that the company aims to become the leading Oracle NetSuite partner in the region in terms of both scale and quality.
Ronald Kemmeren, partner at Smile Sail, highlighted Rsult’s strong position in the NetSuite ecosystem and pointed to its scalable model combining software and services. In addition to capital, Smile Sail plans to provide operational support, sector expertise, and access to its international network to help drive growth.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Rsult Group operates offices in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. The company supports organizations with ERP migrations as well as adjacent software and services and has built a substantial track record across the EMEA market.
Smile Sail is part of the Smile group of funds with assets under management (AUM) approaching 1 billion euros and is exclusively backed by influential families, entrepreneurs and captains of industry
