Seenons expands reach with strategic RCN acquisition

post-title

Partnership positions both companies to serve Belgian and Dutch clients more effectively amid rising demand for sustainable solutions across borders.

Dutch waste-tech firm Seenons has acquired Recycling Consultants Nederland (RCN), marking a strategic move to strengthen its advisory services and expand its digital waste management platform across the Benelux region. Backed by the Belgian majority investor Fortino Capital, the deal enhances Seenons' position in Europe’s fast-evolving circular economy sector.

RCN, a trusted independent advisor with two decades of experience in material management, will integrate into Seenons with its full team. The acquisition bridges deep market knowledge with Seenons' tech-driven approach, creating a more comprehensive offering for clients in retail, logistics, and food industries.

For Belgium-based firms, this deal offers improved access to scalable waste solutions and consultancy with cross-border expertise. Seenons and RCN previously collaborated on binational initiatives and now aim to intensify their joint efforts to meet increasing regulatory and sustainability demands.

The acquisition reflects the growing trend of digitalisation and consolidation in environmental services and highlights the role of technology in enabling data-driven waste reduction. With the integration of RCN’s pragmatic methodology, Seenons takes a step closer to its mission: a world without waste.
