European HR and payroll provider SD Worx has strengthened its presence in Italy by acquiring a majority stake in Labour Consulting S.r.l., a payroll and labour advisory firm based in Reggio Emilia and Parma.
The deal enhances SD Worx’s local expertise and customer base in a strategically important market—good news as well for Belgian employers with operations in Italy. The existing management team will remain in place to ensure continuity for clients and staff.
Founded in 2009, Labour Consulting has grown through targeted acquisitions into a respected provider of payroll and labour advisory services. The company today serves around 400 clients across sectors including chemicals, pharmaceuticals and food.
“Labour Consulting has an attractive customer portfolio in Emilia-Romagna, a region with strong growth potential”, said CEO Kobe Verdonck. “Together, we aim to deepen our presence across Italy. The combination of local sales strength and a dedicated HR team will help us expand market share and drive strategic growth.”
