Berlin-based cybersecurity startup revel8 has secured 5.7 million euros in seed funding, bringing total capital raised since its 2024 founding to 7 million euros.
The round was led by Peak, with participation from Fortino Capital, Merantix Capital, and several industry executives.
Revel8 develops an AI-native cybersecurity training platform that simulates deepfakes, vishing, and other generative AI threats. By tailoring attack simulations to employees using OSINT and adaptive learning, the company aims to reduce the human error that underpins most breaches.
Fortino partner Filip Van Innis highlights revel8’s potential to become a European leader in “AI-driven human risk cybersecurity”, while Peak’s Johan van Mil emphasized its speed in replicating real-world attacks.
The funding will support team expansion, enterprise product features, and international growth. Revel8 plans to relocate its headquarters from Berlin to Munich in 2026.
