Hotel Hungaria merges with Bonka Circus. The new name of the combination is Hotel Bonka.
Hotel Hungaria and Bonka Circus, both active in media and communications, merge to form Hotel Bonka. Both companies have announced this.
The merged company Hotel Bonka will offer communications and entertainment and will employ 75 full-time employees and generate a turnover of 18 million euros.
Bonka Circus is owned by former football player and entrepreneur Vincent Kompany, the coach of the German top club Bayern Munich.
Hotel Hungaria has been working closely with TV chef Jeroen Meus for years, who once owned a minority stake in the company. In addition to the cooking program 'Daily Cost' (VRT), it also developed the reality series 'House Made'.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
