New alliance launches “Whyte EU” to strengthen European public affairs presence in Brussels.

Public Matters (The Hague, Amsterdam and Brussels) and Whyte Corporate Affairs (Brussels and Antwerp) have merged their operations to form the largest independent corporate affairs advisory group in the Benelux. Alongside the merger, the partners are launching Whyte EU, a new Brussels-based public affairs agency focused on EU policy and decision-making.

With headquarters in The Hague and Brussels, Public Matters and Whyte share the same philosophy: integrating public affairs with corporate communications to help clients navigate complex stakeholder environments, anticipate regulation, manage issues, and protect their reputation.

Both firms will continue to operate independently in their home markets while offering a unified Benelux proposition for international clients. The collaboration provides broader regional coverage, cross-border strategies, deep local insight and specialized expertise – all driven by an entrepreneurial culture and a shared focus on safeguarding clients’ license to operate.

Together, the group brings together more than 85 multidisciplinary consultants advising clients on social issues and strategic communication throughout the Benelux. With the addition of Whyte EU, clients also gain direct access to expertise in European policymaking and regulatory affairs. The group has expressed clear ambitions for further growth both within the Benelux and across Europe.
