The sale is part of Proximus's strategy to optimize assets and reinvest in transformative projects.
The Proximus Group has successfully sold its mobile tower infrastructure in Luxembourg to InfraRed Capital Partners for 108 million euros.
This deal involves the transfer of 100 percent of Proximus Luxembourg Infrastructure (PLI), which manages 267 mobile towers, to InfraRed's European Infrastructure Income Fund 4 (EIIF4).
InfraRed, a global infrastructure asset manager with over 25 years of experience, plans to support PLI's growth as Luxembourg's leading independent telecom infrastructure provider.
Proximus Luxembourg, operating under the Tango and Proximus NXT brands, will remain a key tenant under a long-term Master Service Agreement, ensuring uninterrupted mobile services and consistent network coverage.
This transaction contributes to Proximus Group's goal of raising 500 million euros through asset divestments by 2027, with over half of this target now achieved. The proceeds will fund strategic initiatives, such as expanding high-speed fiber connectivity.
Pending regulatory approvals, the deal is expected to close in Q1 2025.
