Belgian software company Protime has acquired Checks, a Dutch cloud software specialist focused on complex workforce scheduling, marking a significant step in its ambition to become a leading European workforce management provider.

The acquisition enhances Protime’s offerings in personnel planning and reinforces its position in the Benelux region. Checks’ technology, known for its advanced planning solutions, will be integrated into Protime’s AI-driven platform, creating a scalable and future-proof system for organizations with intricate staffing needs.

The European workforce management software market is experiencing rapid growth, driven by demand for integrated solutions that improve forecasting, reduce over- and understaffing, and streamline scheduling processes. Automation not only saves time but also boosts employee engagement and satisfaction through transparent and flexible rostering.

Checks, with its robust planning tools and over 170 clients – including Dela, FrieslandCampina, and PreZero – brings extensive expertise across sectors like manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and government.
