Belgian fintech company POM is expanding its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Danish scale-up FarPay, marking a strategic move into the Scandinavian market.
The deal, supported by growth investor Vortex Capital Partners, brings together two fast-growing players aiming to set a new European standard for automated invoicing, payments, and accounts-receivable management.
The market for accounts-receivables automation is accelerating rapidly, with scalability, technology, and ease of use becoming decisive factors. By joining forces, POM and FarPay say they will offer a robust, scalable international platform designed to streamline finance operations while giving end users a smoother payment experience powered by advanced AI-driven tools.
Founded in 2014, FarPay provides Scandinavian businesses with an all-in-one system for invoicing and debtor management. POM, meanwhile, has built a strong presence in the Benelux and Germany with its user-friendly payment and collections solutions centered on offering customers “peace of mind.”

Under the deal, all FarPay employees will remain with the company. FarPay will continue operating as an independent brand within the POM Group, maintaining its own team and Danish office. The companies say the closer collaboration will accelerate innovation and speed up the rollout of new features across Europe.
