Belgium's rapidly growing PIA Group has added seven accounting firms to its network as it begins 2025.
The new additions include A&T Partners (Leuven), CBFin (Bruges), Emendo and Factum Fiscalis (Kapellen), QPS (Hasselt and Genk), Verschaeren & Mertens (Mechelen), and AGEFI (Wallonia).
This expansion boosts PIA Group’s presence across Flanders and Wallonia, solidifying its position as a major player in the sector.
With over 70 offices and 2,000 employees in Belgium and the Netherlands, PIA Group aims to balance scale with a localized approach, respecting the unique identities of its member firms. “Our acquisition strategy prioritizes preserving the local DNA of each firm”, says Steven Brouckaert, Executive Chairman of PIA Group International.
The group’s approach offers its partners support in areas like HR and IT, enabling them to focus on client services. The acquisition allows the firms to address challenges such as talent shortages, digitalization, and evolving regulations while maintaining their autonomy and values.
PIA Group now operates in 50 percent of Wallonia’s provinces and aims to achieve 400 million euros in revenue by the end of 2025.
