The listed Belgian-Dutch pharmacy company Fagron announces 3 deals.
The 3 international acquisitions by Fagron were completed in the past three months. They took place in Germany, the US and Brazil.
The listed Fagron announced this on Thursday when publishing its quarterly figures, with the company recording a turnover of 214.5 million euros, an increase of more than 12 percent.
Fagron has been listed on the stock exchange in both Belgium and the Netherlands since 2007. The company was called Arseus until December 31, 2014 and is part of a division of the Belgian Omega Pharma.
Acquisitions are a cornerstone of Fagron's growth model. The company is a supplier of pharmaceutical raw materials. The company has been committed to acquisitions around the world for more than ten years.
In Brazil, Purifarma was acquired for 42 million euros from a local industry peer. Purifarma has three factories and achieved a turnover of 33 million in the past financial year.
In Germany, Fargon acquired the raw materials branch of EuroOTCs. Financial details of this deal have not been disclosed. Fagron wants to achieve additional scale with this.
The third concerns that of 503 Outsouring, a compounding business that was part of Ritedose in the United States. Financial details of this deal have also not been disclosed.
