Belgian IT company NTX has completed the acquisition of ECX, an IT firm specializing in infrastructure solutions.
The acquisition, which took place in mid-August, is a significant move in NTX's growth strategy and aims to enhance customer support and service offerings. As of September 1, both companies now operate under the NTX name.
NTX, which emerged from the merger of Netflow, Netropolix, and Cavere earlier this year, continues to seek opportunities for growth following the successful completion of its internal integration. “The acquisition of ECX fits perfectly within our growth ambitions and aligns with our vision and mission”, said Koen Vanlommel, Managing Director of NTX.
Both NTX and ECX offer similar services and share the same company values, making the integration process smoother.
Prior to the acquisition, ECX, based in Geel, generated an annual revenue of approximately 2.1 million euros and employed ten people. These employees have now been integrated into the NTX team, with ECX's former head taking on a new role within NTX.
