Capital will be used to boost EV charging expansion in Belgium and France.

Belgian EV charging solutions provider MobilityPlus has secured a 40 million euros investment from Suma Capital’s Climate Impact Fund III.

This funding, aimed at accelerating MobilityPlus’s rollout of end-to-end EV charging solutions, will help the company expand services in Belgium and France and support corporate clients transitioning to e-mobility, in line with decarbonization targets. Concentra, an existing investor, also increased its stake, underscoring confidence in MobilityPlus’s growth strategy.

Founded in 2016, MobilityPlus provides B2B charging solutions for corporate fleets and real estate clients. With over 15,000 charging points installed and roaming access to 550,000 additional stations across Europe, the company offers a seamless user experience through its app and advanced platform, featuring comprehensive energy management and reporting tools. The company’s innovative ‘Charging-as-a-Service’ model also removes upfront costs for clients, allowing businesses to implement charging infrastructure with flexible, end-to-end support.

Suma Capital sees the investment as a way to advance sustainable transport and drive economic growth while reducing carbon emissions. “Our partnership with MobilityPlus aligns perfectly with our mission to foster impactful environmental and societal benefits”, said Ruperto Unzué and Jérôme Petitjean, Suma Capital partners.

MobilityPlus co-CEOs Jean-Francois Cheyns and Kris Pensaert emphasize that the capital will drive further innovation, enhance the MobilityPlus eXperience platform, and provide clients with intelligent control over charging processes and cost savings. With Suma Capital as a strategic partner, MobilityPlus aims to set new standards in EV charging as it deepens its presence in France and scales its offerings in the rapidly expanding B2B market.
