Belgian healthtech startup Mindoo has raised 5 million euros in seed funding to scale its platform of AI agents designed to support healthcare teams with patient intake, documentation and follow-up.
The round was led by 6 Degrees Capital, with participation from Syndicate One and a group of strategic angel investors.
Founded by Dr. Gauthier Willemse and Bart Lens, Mindoo positions itself as an “AI workforce layer” for hospitals facing growing staff shortages and rising demand. Its configurable, voice-first AI agents are built to automate repetitive tasks across the patient journey, while allowing clinical teams to retain control over workflows and protocols.
Hospitals using Mindoo report faster and more complete patient intake, reduced documentation burden and improved operational efficiency, without having to change existing ways of working. The platform currently offers four core agents covering reception, pre-visit intake, clinical documentation and post-visit follow-up.
Already deployed in hospitals in Belgium and Germany, Mindoo plans to expand to the Netherlands and France in the coming months. The new funding will be used to further develop the platform, bring its agents to full production maturity across multiple specialties, and grow the team with engineers, clinical experts and deployment specialists.
Mindoo is headquartered in Antwerp and aims to become a key platform through which European hospitals design, deploy and govern AI agents in everyday clinical operations.
