MAIT Group, a leading pan-European technology partner for industrial digitalization, has announced its acquisition of 4ITEGO Group, a prominent provider of engineering software solutions for the manufacturing industry.
The deal, subject to regulatory approval, marks a significant milestone as Smile Invest, the current majority shareholder, exits its investment following a successful growth phase.
4ITEGO Group operates as an international consortium, comprising Innoptus, Infinite Simulation Systems, and CAD Services, with a strong presence in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
Innoptus and CAD Services are long-standing partners of PTC, specializing in CAD, CAE, CAM, PLM, SLM, and ALM technologies, while Infinite is an Elite Channel partner of Ansys, renowned for advanced simulation solutions. The acquisition will bolster MAIT’s footprint in the Benelux and France, adding complementary expertise in product development, high-end simulation, and digital transformation.
Xavier Werbrouck, founder and CTO of 4ITEGO Group, will remain with the company post-transaction, continuing to shape its future within MAIT. “MAIT and 4ITEGO share a commitment to integrated digitalization and sustainable implementation across the digital value chain”, Werbrouck stated. “Together, we will strategically expand our operations in the Benelux and France.”
Michael Jäger, a board member of MAIT Group, emphasized the alignment in culture and expertise, calling the acquisition a “perfect fit” for both organizations.
Smile Invest, which supported 4ITEGO Group’s ambitious growth trajectory, highlighted the company’s achievements, including organic growth, geographic expansion, and leadership in engineering solutions.
