Belgian hosting firm Level27 has acquired managed-service provider Xenius to strengthen its position in the national cloud market. The deal expands Level27’s service portfolio and geographic reach in Flanders and Brussels, while ensuring continuity for Xenius’s specialist SME clientele.
Belgian hoster Level27, founded in 2007, announced that it has taken over Bilzen-based Xenius, a provider of customised cloud solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. Under the agreement, Xenius’s owner Steve Vos and his four staff will remain in place, preserving trusted client relationships while tapping into Level27’s broader infrastructure and scale.
CEO Peter Fastré said the acquisition aligns with a wider growth strategy: “By combining our strengths, we can offer clients a richer service portfolio without sacrificing quality.” The deal boosts Level27’s headcount to around 25 and deepens its footprint across Belgium’s key economic regions.
The integration comes amid ongoing consolidation in the Belgian tech sector, as providers join forces to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Level27 plans to triple its size in the coming years through organic expansion and further strategic acquisitions, ensuring that Belgian businesses—both SMEs and larger firms—have access to robust, scalable cloud and hosting services.
