Jos Vanneste, one of Belgium’s leading flax companies, has announced the addition of Vybros Capital Partners (VCP) and textile entrepreneur Joe Lano as new shareholders.
This strategic move aims to strengthen expertise and secure growth capital, while maintaining the company’s deep family roots.
CEO Alex Vanneste and his daughters, Laura and Emilie Vanneste, representing the fifth generation, will continue to play a central role, ensuring the preservation of the company’s family values, long-term vision, and regional commitment.
The partnership aligns with Jos Vanneste’s broader strategy to accelerate growth and reinforce its position in the global flax market. The company is pursuing a controlled growth path, focusing on organic expansion and strengthening its core operations while exploring complementary market opportunities.
"The flax market is deeply rooted in our region, and our company has played a key role in it for decades", said Alex Vanneste, CEO of Jos Vanneste. "With the rising international demand for high-quality and sustainable flax products, we want to optimize both operational projects and external opportunities to accelerate our growth. VCP and Joe Lano bring the strategic expertise we need. This isn’t a sale, it’s a reinforcement of our growth story, staying true to our values, culture, and passion for flax."
