Belgian construction company Jan De Nul has acquired Aircoplus, a family-owned business specializing in heating, cooling, ventilation, and sanitary systems. The acquisition enhances Jan De Nul’s capabilities in large-scale construction projects.
Strengthening expertise in energy-efficient solutions
Aircoplus designs, installs, and maintains HVAC and sanitary systems for large buildings, including offices, hospitals, and care facilities. The company has contributed to major projects such as the new Antwerp prison, the Defense headquarters, and the VRT building.
Since 2005, Jan De Nul and Aircoplus have successfully collaborated on projects like the ASZ hospital in Aalst, the ORSI medical training center in Wetteren, and the Leietop residential development in Deinze.

Commitment to sustainability
Aircoplus prioritizes energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, responding to the growing demand for sustainable building solutions. The company specializes in heat pumps, heat recovery systems, geothermal installations, and other sustainable technologies – areas in which Jan De Nul has also been investing for years.
Founded in 1998 and based in Aalst, Aircoplus employs around 50 people. The company will continue to operate as an independent legal entity under the Jan De Nul umbrella.
