Belgian ice cream manufacturer Jacques IJs has acquired B’Nice, a production partner with which it has collaborated for over a decade.
The strategic move allows Jacques IJs to accelerate its growth strategy and expand production capacity, addressing limitations at its current site after recent investments in storage and logistics.
The acquisition of B’Nice’s Beerse-based facilities provides much-needed space for new production lines, complementing Jacques IJs’ existing operations.
Beyond added capacity, the deal brings enhanced flexibility, particularly for small-batch and specialty products. "B’Nice’s agility perfectly aligns with our expertise, enabling us to offer customers a broader range tailored to market demands", said Dirk Robeyn, CEO of Jacques IJs.
This consolidation strengthens Jacques IJs’ market position while ensuring continuity for clients and employees. The combined operations will also serve as a platform for innovative product development, supporting the company’s long-term ambition to lead in the premium ice cream segment.
