J-Tec takes over the Spanish company Gomez Madrid

Daughter Katoen Natie J-Tec Material Handling makes acquisition in Spain.

J-Tec is a specialist in process engineering. They design and assemble production installations for industrial processes. J-Tec's customers are active in the food and chemical industries, among others. The company has been part of the Katoen Natie group since 1999. J-Tec has an annual turnover of approximately 70 million euros.

Gomez Madrid was founded as a metal workshop in 96 in Valencia. It used to be mainly a supplier for the construction sector, but is now fully focused on industry. The company has 70 employees and achieved a turnover of ten million euros last year.

An acquisition amount has not been announced.
