Arco and Vos Technics join forces to strengthen industrial cooling solutions.
Arco, a leading Belgian specialist in industrial cooling installations, has announced a strategic partnership with Vos Technics, a well-established company known for its expertise in natural gas-based cooling systems. The collaboration brings the two companies together as sister firms under the new holding group Climate Pioneers, which now boasts over 150 employees across multiple locations in Belgium.
The partnership is aimed at enhancing their capacity to deliver advanced, tailor-made cooling solutions for a wide range of industries. Both companies will retain their operational independence and unique identities while leveraging their combined expertise and resources to serve a larger market. The geographical reach of the group is significantly expanded, with Arco's headquarters in Lokeren and additional sites in Geel and Charleroi complementing Vos Technics' base in Herk-De-Stad, Limburg.
Building on strengths
Vos Technics, founded in 1986 and under the leadership of the second-generation owners Maarten and Kristof Onckelinx, has been a pioneer in sustainable cooling since 2001. The company specializes in systems utilizing natural refrigerants like ammonia, propane, and CO2, providing eco-friendly alternatives to traditional greenhouse gas-based solutions.
Arco, established in 1987 by Luc Van Raemdonck, focuses on industrial refrigeration and freezing systems for clients in food distribution, pharmaceuticals, retail, and logistics. Backed by the investment firm Sofindev since 2022, Arco has maintained a strong commitment to growth, innovation, and customer-focused service, led by CEO Sébastien Farinotti.
