post-title

C for Growth has acquired a majority stake in Damhert Nutrition, a Belgian producer of organic, sugar-free and vegetarian foods.

Public investor LRM (Limburgse Reconversiemaatschappij), the management team and the founding family are also reinvesting alongside the fund. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the deal was advised by EY.

Founded in 1986, Damhert has developed into a market leader in functional and healthy nutrition across Belgium and the Netherlands. The company generates approximately 18 million euros in annual revenue, employs around 70 people and markets roughly 300 branded products, ranging from confectionery and chocolate to pasta, vegan snacks, meal replacements and dietary supplements.

Damhert’s products are sold through more than 2,000 retail outlets, including major supermarket chains such as Albert Heijn, Delhaize and Carrefour.

The investment follows a search for long-term continuity, as the founding family faced limited succession options.
