This merger, named ‘Harmonising Waves’, unites complementary expertise to redefine global standards in predictive maintenance.
Enhancing customer experience and technology
Founded in 1975, SDT International brings its ultrasonic technology expertise and global network to I-care. The company will retain its headquarters in Vorst, maintaining operational autonomy while benefiting from I-care’s synergies.
This merger integrates ultrasonic and vibration-based predictive maintenance into a single platform, I-see, streamlining anomaly detection, equipment performance, energy efficiency, and lubrication management. The fusion of these technologies sets a new benchmark in industrial asset monitoring.
Fully funded by I-care’s equity, this acquisition highlights the company’s financial strength and commitment to innovation in predictive maintenance.
Leadership and future vision

“Joining I-care during SDT International’s 50th anniversary honors my family’s legacy”, added Benoît Degraeve, CEO of SDT International.
Governance changes include André Degraeve’s transition to an advisory role, while Benoît Degraeve remains CEO. Fabrice Brion will become Chairman of SDT International’s Board. The partnership focuses on research, development, and innovation to expand production and improve customer solutions.
