Hemink Group, based in Holten (Overijssel), has acquired Instain Installatietechniek from Terwolde (Gelderland), a specialized installation company serving housing corporations. Hemink is a leader in real estate maintenance.
The deal was a year in the making, according to M&A advisor Marktlink, which facilitated the transaction.
The owner of Instain contacted Marktlink last year to explore options. "After the summer, we started the process with him and his management team", Marktlink stated.
Hemink is building a national integrated real estate maintenance platform, bringing together all relevant disciplines to create future-proof properties.
Since last year, the company has been owned by Belgian investor Gimv, which took over the stake from Dutch investor Pontex and former Hemink managers.
Instain will continue to operate as an independent company. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed
