Ghent-based printing giant Graphius Group has announced the acquisition of the Dutch NPN Printers.
The move marks Graphius’ first production site in the Netherlands, a strategic expansion aimed at strengthening its foothold in a key market.
Founded in 1928, Graphius Group has become one of Europe’s leading printing companies, with operations spanning Belgium, France, the UK, and North America. Employing over 650 people across 10 production sites, the company specializes in book production, high-end corporate printing, packaging, and labels.
The Dutch printing company NPN Printers, located in Breda, is a respected name in the graphic industry, known for its high-quality printwork and service. With an annual turnover of 4 million euros and 20 employees, the acquisition is relatively modest in scale but strategically significant.
“This is our first facility in the Netherlands”, says Denis Geers, CEO van Graphius, in De Tijd. “The Dutch market has long been important for us, but with local production, we can deepen and expand our customer base.”
Under Graphius’ ownership, NPN Printers will continue operating under its current name. Most employees are expected to retain their roles, contributing to the company’s integration and future growth within the group.
