Gosselin acquires Doree Bonner International Group to boost UK presence

post-title

Belgium-based moving and logistics firm Gosselin has announced the acquisition of the Doree Bonner International Group, one of the United Kingdom’s leading moving and storage companies.

The deal strengthens Gosselin’s position in the UK market and further expands its pan-European operations.

Doree Bonner, with 11 branches across the country, has built a strong reputation in local, long-distance, international, and commercial moving, as well as storage services.

The acquisition complements Gosselin’s existing UK footprint, which began with the 2017 purchase of DT Moving, rebranded under Gosselin in 2020.

Leadership continuity will be maintained, with Doree Bonner’s Managing Director Jason Herbert and Finance Director Simon Norrington becoming shareholders in Gosselin Mobility UK Ltd. They will oversee both Gosselin’s and Doree Bonner’s UK operations, supported by Geoff Watson and Gordon Lyall in advisory roles.

Gosselin CEO Marcel Jörg emphasized that the acquisition not only grows market share but diversifies the company’s revenue streams in the UK. Group CEO Marc Smet highlighted the value of Doree Bonner’s asset-based operations and opportunities for expansion.

Doree Bonner’s founders, Geoff Watson and Gordon Lyall, are enthusiastic about joining the Gosselin Group, seeing the move as a major step forward for growth and stability. Managing Director Jason Herbert called the partnership a proud moment, crediting the team’s hard work for the successful transition.
