2 grain icons merge and will generate 800 million euros in turnover.
Dossche Mills, a Belgian family business active in the milling sector since 1875, today reached agreement on the proposed takeover of the German Mühle Rüningen.
Both Dossche Mills and Mühle Rüningen are both grain icons in their respective markets in the Benelux and Germany. The milling group will now have 600 employees, mill more than 2 million tons of wheat and generate a turnover of approximately 800 million euros.
Both companies have a strong position in their separate home markets in the production and sale of flour, flour mixes and derived products for various applications such as bread, pastries, biscuits, the food industry and animal feed.
The merger will allow the milling group in the Benelux, Germany and France to serve its customers even more efficiently from its various locations, while at the same time offering better customer service and a broader product range.
