Four specialized companies in the Flemish media and entertainment sector – Media Partners, Flanders Tax Shelter, Brightside Productions and Famework – have merged to form a new group, Brightside Media Group.
The transaction aims to create an integrated platform supporting creative projects from financing and legal advisory to operational execution.
The newly established group said the merger comes at a time of mounting pressure on the Flemish media industry, citing sharply rising production costs, reduced broadcaster commissions and diminishing subsidies. Combining creative vision with business expertise is intended to help address these structural challenges.
Brightside Media Group will offer strategic and operational support, including guidance on various media financing structures, while assisting creators in delivering audiovisual and stage productions. The organization will also support marketers, agencies and content makers in building creative partnerships.
The group employs 23 people and operates offices in Ghent and Antwerp. Managing Partner Olja Rudic said the new approach is designed to strengthen the Flemish creative ecosystem and provide sustainable financing solutions that enable talent to continue producing new work.
